
Sofia Tejada
Sofia Tejada, Founding Partner of InnovatED Learning Partners, is an experienced educator, teacher mentor, and workshop facilitator. With a diverse background in teaching and coaching, Sofia brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her work. As an ELA 6th Grade teacher, Sofia has been rated highly effective, with her students showing progress in District and State Assessments.
Sofia has over 15 years serving NYC Public and Charter schools and served as an Instructional Coach for Grades K-8 and a Universal Literacy Reading Coach for Grades K-2, where she provided invaluable support to educators through coaching cycles and facilitated professional development sessions on topics tailored to school and district-wide needs.
Sofia holds a Master of Science in Education in Childhood Education from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies from Syracuse University. Equipped with skills in various educational programs and curricula, including AI technologies and EL Curriculum, Sofia is dedicated to empowering educators and improving learning outcomes for all students.

Sofia's additional loves outside of education include her husband and her infant son, traveling, exploring new restaurants and cuisines, interior decorating, and group fitness classes.
